What's your thoughts on financial cost of covid ?

We often see small business going under due to covid, but the govt has had massive savings, eg less work and road accidents due to lockdowns, so ACC are laughing all the way to the bank, take into account less were and tear on motorways, less spent on parks and recreation areas, as no one could go, less spent on sports events the the govt chip into, as they have been binned, so in some aspects, the govt should be able to divert some of this funding to health etc. Yes they have had big bills, but also big savings in other areas, its just swings and roundabouts.

well, as I recall they have been upping the amounts spent on health, and with hospitals full of covid patients that's been balancing some of it too. Reply
