the WEHI Institute out of Australia may have increased hope for us older folk.

A recent announcement says they'll be able to boost immune systems back up in elderly. The Institute exists to investigate various forms of immunity and it's natural they'll have been looking hard at this one. As we age, our immune systems decline in efficiency. (some 90% of those who died from over covid Australia were over 60.) And it looks as if they may have cracked that general one with a method that raises an immune system back to where it was when we were younger. This could revolutionize older peoples' health - if it pans out completely. Would you take the risk of being an early accepter? Do you believe this or think it just a media beat-up? or do you worry it will leave a host of aging healthier-people to live on - using resources, pensions, and houses, cost the State more, and fill jobs you can't get?

I guess, if it turns up here asking for older people to test it on, I'll be volunteering. Reply

I think that is a great thing to be able to boost immunity in older generation. I would love for my father to try it. I'd be happy if he wishes to try the treatment. It's a good thing for both seniors, their family members and most importantly by boosting older people's immunity even by a small extent, the stress on state health care can be reduced to a large extent.
