Council rubbish bags, should it matter where you buy them ?

2 weeks ago, like I often do, I bought council rubbish bags for my area from my local super market, for 5 bags, it was $14. Today I needed more, and as I was at the local Council office, just got some from there, here is the sticking point, the same 5 rubbish bags only came to $11. If its a local council requirement that you use there rubbish bags, should they not be the same price where ever you buy them ? Is it the supermarkets right to charge 30% approximately more ? What's your thoughts. I think at $14, they are ripping people off.

We can put our rubbish in any old bag - big or small - any colour - as long as it has a Council Rubbish sticker on it. Reply

at least you can GET them. Our @#$%^ council has stopped bags entirely, you either have nothing, or you have to get a fancy (and hugely expensive and inconvenient) dumpster thing. Reply
