Bay of Plenty District Health Board has formally apologised for its "racist" COVID-19 vaccine information booklet. Iwi from Mai I Ngā Kuri a Whaarei ki Tihirau say this goes beyond being offended. What is your thought?

From what I've read, the booklet was designed by a Māori artist, and had input from Māori marketing specialists and it had gone through an approval process, including consultation with some local iwi. But the result is considered as failure. It look like tax payers money again goes down drain. Should the artist that design this be held accountable? Or the Māori marketing specialist? Or someone higher in the DHB? Should those accountable deserve a paycut... or more? Your thoughs?

Seems everything is racist in this new world. We need to all stop with this line of thought as it is creating huge division and separatism. Reply
