#MyTravels Milford Sound in New Zealand is one of the most beautiful majestic places. The drive into it is through scenic lake, river and mountain country. The cruise on the sound is truly wonderful as it gets you close to both wildlife and waterfalls. And to top it off Mitre Peak rising out of the water is awesome.

#mytravels Last year back in late October my partner and I travelled from Christchurch to Queenstown and the drive down there is amazing with the beautiful scenery especially from Lake Tekapo to Cromwell. We are very lucky to live in NZ with nature as our playground.

#mytravels It doesn't matter where you go in New Zealand. There is always somewhere incredibly amazing on offer. Just go for a drive, soak in the most amazing scenery, tranquility that our gorgeous country has to offer. We are blessed here, though people take it for granted unfortunately. If anything covid19 lockdown has just validated how precious our own backyard is. So I'm traveling local, promoting my own backyard.. the Stunningly beautiful Wairarapa region, the scenery, walks, hikes are free, our towns are quaint, our people proud and welcoming. There are numerous things I could list to do here, but my favourite is to walk around the many parks and wetlands we have all within 5 minutes of the main (small) city.. Masterton. In particular the swingbridge crosses over to a deer park and QE2 park, just a stroll from the main centre. Lots for the kids too.

#MyTravels: pinnacles walk, 3 hrs to the Huts where one can spend night on the huts for $12 per person. Great facilities in the Hut and one can see the sun rise or sun set from the peak which is another 40 to 50 minutes hike from the huts. Great advanture
