Thanks to comments regarding our Content Creator of the Month competition, we have decided to share the latest updates and reminders regarding the content bonuses and how we award them.

1. Content bonuses will only be given to Polls and Topics, and priority will be given to those that appear in the Popular feed. This means that the most engaging content will be reviewed and rewarded first.

2. The better the content and the feedback received, the more points you will receive. We will give up to 1000 points for good quality content.

3. To avoid spam, we remind you to limit the number of posts to no more than five per hour. This allows for all content to be seen fairly, so everyone can have an equal opportunity to engage. Content bonuses are awarded based on the quality of the post, not on quantity. We reserve the right to remove content from the feed, or delete it entirely from the site, as we see fit.

4. Copy/pasting without including the source is not allowed. If you read an interesting article, please share your personal opinion while only quoting the appropriate sections. You will not receive points for copy/pasting an entire article.

Please note that this does not affect the current Content Creators of the Month listings. The top 10 list from last month will carry on as before without pause. However, we hope that these revised rules and selection criteria will encourage more interesting and engaging content, and allow a greater variety of members to make the list each month. We will of course continue to evaluate this process and make adjustments when necessary.
